Growing up in Erie, Pa I never really knew how fortunate I was. In the summers I would play outside with my brothers all day and into the night until it was time to go in for showers and bed then get up and do it all over again every day. Not until my adult life had I ever stopped and just looked at the colors in the sky to really appreciate them. Erie, Pa has been listed by National Geographic magazine in the past as spot to enjoy best sunsets in the world.
On this summer evening I was driving across the Bayfront Highway and was enjoying the colors and in turn decided to stop. Thankfully I carry my GoPro with quite often and the way the colors were I couldn't pass up just parking the car and start walking to the waters edge and take some photos. Many evenings it is like this and I am starting to always stop and appreciate it no matter what else is going on. I'm thankful for where I live and my family who I'm surrounded by!

As Labor Day weekend comes to a close I'm very excited to announce we had our first online sale this week! That was one of the most exciting things for me and I will always remember and be thankful to that first customer!
I also spent the weekend camping with limited cell reception which in itself was something that had its perks. Hope everyone had a great end of summer party and got to enjoy the outdoors!

The onno brand of shirts are made outside the beautiful mountain city of Tai'an China. They relocated the cut and sew locations near the villages where their employees live and cut down a lengthy 45 minute commute to and from work. Now they workers are able to go home at lunch and play with their children. This concept is modeled how apparel manufacturing is done in Germany. They employee 20 people and their work day consists of 8 am start time, a 1 hour lunch and 5 pm quitting time.
Benefits of bamboo clothing... the material you are wearing is fed by rain. To make the shirt it didn't need to be bathed with water, saturated with pesticides or fertilizers and grows naturally, with the sun, the rain, stars and moon.
